Dr. Einat Zalckvar

Principal Investigator

Einat knew from the age of 15 that she wanted to be a biologist. After establishing and leading a Peroxi team at the Weizmann Institute of Science for 10 years, Einat  joined Bar-Ilan University and is ready to make her dream a reality.

Dr. Emelia Melvin

Senior Researcher

After doing her PhD in Tel Aviv University Emelia fell in love with peroxisomes. Emelia is juggling between teaching the team how to play with proteins and human cells and establishing new experimental setups.

Eden Bahari

MSc Student

After finishing her bachelor's degree in Bar-Ilan, Eden recently joined the lab as an MSc student.

Artur Sherman

MSc Student

After finishing his bachelor's degree in Bar-Ilan and working in the lab for more than a year, Artur officially joined the lab as an MSc student. Artur is our official tissue culture expert.

Mor Shlomy

After finishing her bachelor's degree in Bar-Ilan and working in the lab for few months Mor officially joined the lab as an MSc student. In parallel to playing with peroxisomes Mor is also our lab manager.

After finishing her bachelor's degree in Bar-Ilan. Talya recently joined the lab as an MSc student. Talya is juggling between performing experiments, taking courses, and being the safety expert in the lab.
